New Alec Ounsworth Release This Week

(PR) This week, on October 20th, Alec Ounsworth will be releasing an album called MO BEAUTY on ANTIRecords. He recorded the album in New Orleans with the help of producer Steve Berlin of Los Lobos fame and some amazing New Orleans musicians including Stanton Moore, George Porter Jr., Matt Sutton and Robert Walter.To help launch the record he'll be playing some shows at CMJ including one at the Mercury Lounge at 9:00 pm on October 22nd, and an early set at Piano's upstairs for the Brooklyn Vegan day party. He'll be playing these shows as Flashy Python, with his good friends Matt Sutton, Peter Modavis, Brian Ashby and Jonas Oesterle, and will be playing songs from Mo Beauty, the Flashy Python record Skin and Bones. - Grab a listen here
