(Adrenaline) After conquering Europe all summer long, Testament made a stop in New York City for a special taping of Sirius XM's Artist Confidential series. Artist Confidential features the most important and timeless artists in music sitting down for candid interviews, intimate conversations with fans and live performances. Artists who will appear this season on the Sirius XM series include: Reba McIntyre, David Gray, Melissa Etheridge, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Oak Ridge Boys, Ziggy Marley, Ronnie Milsap and Smokey Robinson. The show is scheduled to air Monday October 5th at 9:00 pm EST. Testament tore thorough a blistering six-song set spanning their entire catalog. The set list included: "Over the Wall", "The New Order", "Practice What You Preach", "Into the Pit", "More Than Meets the Eye", and "The Persecuted Won't Forget" In between songs, the band fielded questions from show host Lou Brutus. Testament spoke candidly about filming of their early videos, special memories of being on the road, the band's history, the reformation of the original line up of the band, and the recording of their new "Golden Gods" Award Winning Record, "The Formation of Damnation." Lead Singer Chuck Billy had the following to say about the experience: "Being the first Metal band to play Sirius XM's esteemed Artist Confidential was an absolute honor. It was amazing after making music together for over 24 years to be placed in the same category as other musicians like Paul McCartney and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Our Artist Confidential will be way more Brutal." Guitarist and founder Eric Peterson also remarked on the occasion: "This was a great time! Our favorite Metal Radio Station plus all the industry peeps in suits and coffee mugs and being in the lobby performing, it actually sounded amazing! A day to remember and archived! Can't wait to hear and see it!"
