(PR) On October 7th, Maia Sharp will launch the fall leg of her 2009 headlining tour in support of her latest album, Echo, which was produced by Don Was. Fans can get a preview of Sharp's compelling live show when her performance on NPR's "Mountain Stage with Larry Groce" airs this weekend, October 2 - 4.
Upon the album's release, Sharp was hailed as "A Songwriter Set To Arrive" by NPR's "All Things Considered" - and online sales soared after the feature aired, with Echo jumping to #11 on Amazon.com's Bestsellers in Music - Adult Contemporary chart.
Initially released on Sharp's own Crooked Crown Records, the album's reach broadened recently when Crooked Crown forged an exclusive marketing/distribution agreement with Blix Street Records. As a result, fans can now purchase Echo at major retail stores such as Barnes and Noble and Borders as well as at numerous independent music outlets across the U.S.
