Megadeth Crew Members Fired For Gig Problems

(Rock Radio) Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine has sacked some of his touring crew after a club venue was unable to keep up with the band's power demands. The band played the Madison Theatre in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Friday night, using the in-house PA and lighting system. But due to the requirements of the Megadeth performance, the night was beset with power cuts.And even though he acknowledges the audience enjoyed the show, and his crew are always professional, Mustaine is still going to replace some of them because, he says, the job is all about performance. He explains: "We employ professionals and they know all our specifics before we even come to a city or venue. From me to management to the agent to all of our crew - we know better. So I don't understand how it happened - but rest assured it won't happen again. We have some people to buy plane tickets for and some people to replace." - more on this story
