The 24/7 global internet radio station allmemphismusic.com will air a one-hour special on the new Mississippi Sheiks tribute CD, Things About Comin' My Way, this Friday, November 13 at 10:00 PM Central Time; and repeating the following morning on November 14 at 10:00 AM Central Time. In addition to playing all 17 tracks of Things About Comin' My Way, which showcases such artists as John Hammond, The North Mississippi Allstars, Bruce Cockburn, Geoff Muldaur, Bill Frisell, Madeleine Peyroux, Danny Barnes and The Carolina Chocolate Drops, the special includes an in-depth interview with Steve Dawson, who conceived the project, produced most of the tracks on the album, played various instruments throughout, and is also the featured artist on one track.
