(antiMusic) Want to own a piece of early Metallica history? How about an instrument from a founding member of the band used during those early days? Classic Rock has the 411: Former Metallica bassist Ron McGovney is currently auctioning off his Fender Precision bass on eBay. McGovney, who preceded Cliff Burton in the band, says: "I am including the original sales receipt which has my address that I lived at in Norwalk, California until 1987. The phone number on the receipt is the same as the one most Metallica collectors will recognize as being the same as the number on the original Metallica business cards. - That's not all
