Slash Will Rock American Idol

(antiMusic) Slash will indeed appear on next week's "rock week" on American Idol. The former Guns N' Roses and current Velvet Revolver guitarist will act as a mentor to the pop singing contestants. Slash is apparently looking forward to the experience and had a Man of La Mancha moment of dreaming the impossible dream when he wrote the following on Twitter, "I'm going to attempt to make 'Rock Week' on 'American Idol' exactly that." Good luck with that Slash! He will apparently be aided in the endeavor in some fashion by Alice Cooper and Ex Slash's Snake Pit guitarist Keri Kelli according Blabbermouth.
