(Billboard) Nearly two months after Ticketmaster Entertainment and Live Nation announced plans to merge, the fate of Sean Moriarty, president and CEO of the Ticketmaster division, has been revealed. The company has announced that Moriarty resigned on March 24, and has also resigned from its board of directors. "I'll always be grateful for my time spent at Ticketmaster with its truly outstanding people and I wish the company every success in the future," Moriarty said in a statement.
