(PR) MySpace Music hosted a performance for "The List" with Grammy Award-winning punk band(isn't that an oxymoron?) Green Day on Tuesday, May 19 at Webster Hall in New York City. MySpace fans who were notified via the social-networking community days before the actual event were instructed on how they could obtain entry. Throughout the evening, the band performed new songs from their highly-anticipated new album "21st Century Breakdown," a selection of which can be found below.
"The List" is a live concert event where MySpace users are provided a chance to see the biggest bands by responding to a series of blogs and bulletins posted from the program's official profile at http://www.myspace.com/thelist. Fans across the world are then able to watch the performance when footage of the entire show is presented on MySpace Music shortly after the concert. Past shows for the concert series have included performances by My Chemical Romance, The Roots, LCD Soundsystem, Smashing Pumpkins, Taking Back Sunday, and Serj Tankian.
