Live Nation Announce Buy One Get One Free (plus fees) Promo

07/21/2009
.
(Live Nation) Live Nation let concert fans set the ticket-buying terms themselves for this week's concert ticket offer. More than 35,000 music fans voted in the 36 hours that the poll was active, and the winner was clear. 72% of voters picked the buy one get one free offer for lawn tickets for hundreds of shows across the country. "What's better than no service fee?" Live Nation asked. "Half-price tickets," was the fans' clear answer.

Tickets for this week's Wednesday promotion go on sale at 12:01 a.m. local time on July 22, 2009 only at www.LiveNation.com.

"We spend a lot of time listening to fans," said Michael Rapino, President and Chief Executive Officer of Live Nation. "This week we decided to take it one step further and for the first time ever let the fans choose for themselves what our Wednesday ticket offer should be. Anything we can do to help make it easier and more affordable for more concert fans to get to the show, gets our vote."

Promotion will execute via a 50% discount off the total price and fees of tickets in multiples of two. Not available in combination with other offers. Participating shows at Live Nation amphitheatres only. Subject to availability. General admission or reserved seats where applicable.
