Tiff Jimber Release Party
07/20/2009
.
(PR) Tiff Jimber is hosting a CD release show at Hotel Cafe on August 7th to celebrate her new album, Burning at Both Ends. This project is Tiff's second full-length album and combines both her diverse jazz and classical training along with her audible passion for piano on ten original tracks of intricate and catchy melodies. Tiff uses her life to imitate her art, and the song "Garage" was inspired by her days living in a garage, and the song "City Life" relates to her time living in Boston. "Different living situations have effected this album and life experiences have crept up and into every song on the album." - Tiff. This new album introduces listeners to a few quirky instruments: Accordion and Stylophone (performed by producer Matt Bobb). The financing required for this new album was arranged through a fundraising campaign solely organized by Tiff and her loyal fans, with proceeds totaling over $10,000. Tiff is looking forward to her upcoming Burning at Both Ends tour, which kicks off with her CD Release Aug. 7, 2009 at Hotel Café in Hollywood. The tour continues for three weeks nation wide. Visit http://www.myspace.com/tiffjimber for full tour schedule and for more information. About Tiff: Singer Songwriter, Tiff Jimber holds nothing back when she plays, smashing out rhythms and dancing on her toes. This is not your average piano girl. Consistently compared to Sara Bareilles and Ben Folds, her influences include Billy Joel, Vanessa Carlton, Nina Simone and Adele. Tiff has engineered and assisted on many projects and played in several bands. She has worked with Phil Collins; Blink 182; The Foo Fighters; Queensrÿche, among others and is a touring veteran. This San Diego native holds a dual degree in Songwriting and Music Production/Engineering from Berklee School of Music and currently resides in Santa Monica, Calif.
