Burden Of Grief's Haunting Requiems Revisited
07/13/2009
.
(MMP) Today Metal Mind Productions presents re-release of Burden Of Grief's "Haunting Requiems", the band's successful debut album from 2000. It is considered by many as one of the best melodic death metal albums ever! The new digipak edition includes 4 bonus tracks and is limited to 2000 copies. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process on a golden disc. The release date is scheduled for 27th July in Europe and 8th September in USA (via MVD). Since the mid-90's Burden Of Grief belong together with bands such as Night In Gales, Dark Age and Soul Demise to the German pioneers and flag ships of melodic death metal, a genre which seemed to be owned exclusively by Scandinavian bands up to that time. But with their 4 albums recorded so far the band has proved that in comparison with their international competitors they have nothing to be ashamed of. With each release they tore the boundaries of the genre. With their most recent album entitled "Death End Road" Burden Of Grief succeeded once more in surpassing the level of their previous record and in creating an album that also fascinated fans far beyond the "melodic death metal" genre. The band is currently working on their next album to be released in early 2010. Tracklist: 1. Smashed To Pieces 2. Paradox Reality 3. Deliverance 4. Eternal Solar Eclipse 5. A Duet Of Thoughts 6. Prowler 7. My Beauty's Embrace 8. In The Name Of My Blood 9. Days Of Anguish 10. Immense Infinity 11. Gedankenwelt Bonus tracks: 12. In The Name Of My Blood 13. A Duet Of Thoughts 14. Days Of Anguish 15. Immense Infinity
