(PR) Armed with their revered sophomore LP, 2 (Dangerbird Records), Darker My Love are starting off the year declaring their allegiance to the road, this time with post-hardcore stalwarts These Arms Are Snakes. Since the release of their critically acclaimed album, a frenzy of feedback-filled guitars, pummeling rhythms and indelible, inescapable melodies, touring has become as familiar as "Best of 2008" lists.
Following on the heels of "Two Ways Out," which spilled out of speakers nationwide, the second single "Blue Day" instantly bursts with huge guitars and infectious harmonies, showcasing Darker My Love's skill in seamlessly merging "a Sabbath stomp and shoe-gazey simmer" (Los Angeles Times. - don't hold this against the band, they are good). The track will impact Modern Rock radio February 16.
