(PR) Cauldron singer Jason Decay explains how they kicked off 2009 in true metal style: "Me and Chris just got hit up with public drunkenness charges for drinking open liquor on King Street West... Kinda sucks, and there's no criminal record, but we both got $125 dollar fines. This is no coincidence! Oh, and we also wrote our new hit single tonite, "Don't Say That You Love Me", to be featured on our new next album. Sh*t, what a good nite that got sh*tty!"Drummer Chris Rites states: "We were trying to be nice and co-operate 'cause usually they just make you dump it out, but when they started writing up the tickets I got pissed. I managed to contain myself though, 'cause I didn't want to end up in the drunk tank again."
And the end result? Jason Decay closes: "Well, I was gonna call in sick today, but now I definitely have to go to work to pay off the ticket. My big concern was making sure that this wouldn't affect our criminal records when leaving the country. I tried to get rid of my bottle by throwing it on the ground, but it ended up smashing and being even more noticeable. Chris was keeping his tall in his pocket the whole time thinking that maybe he wouldn't have to dump it out, but they turned their sh*t road on that too."
