Guns N' Roses Accused of Song Theft was a top pop story in April 2009. Here it is again as we recap 2009: Guns N' Roses are being sued for $1 million dollars by two indie labels who claim that the Axl Rose led group used portions of two songs by one of their artists on a "Chinese Democracy" track.Reuters reports: Guns N' Roses and Universal Music Group's Interscope-Geffen A&M label were sued by British label Independiente and the U.S. arm of Domino Recording Company, who own the licensing rights to songs by German electronic musician Ulrich Schnauss. The lawsuit alleges that Axl Rose and Guns N' Roses band members and album producers copied portions of two of Schnauss' songs for the song "Riad N' the Bedouins" off of "Chinese Democracy" - The follow up with the band's response is here
