Horse The Band presents We Flooded It, and There's Yoghurt Everywhere aka 48 Hours in Ukraine, their new feature-length film chronicling the band's now infamous stay in Ukraine in the midst of Earth Tour 2008. The DVD is available exclusively at Hot Topic stores nationwide and online through Horse The Band's webstore. The DVD features: exclusive HD, live-action footage from the band's wild trek across Romania, the narrow escape from the rogue nation of Transnistria with the help of the Moldovan Army, the heartbreaking aftermath of a missed show on the shores of the Black Sea, wild parties, infinite vodka, communal bathing, live shows, 24-hour nonstop techno, gratuitous male nudity, flooding, misplaced yoghurt, a fan, manic episodes, an onstage full mental breakdown at a misogynistic goregrind festival... the highest of highs... and the lowest of lows.
The DVD serves as a "sneak-peek" for the forthcoming Earth Tour 2008 box set, a 15-hour DVD release with footage from the entire 45-country, 3-month round-the-world tour. The Eearth Tour 2008 box set is scheduled for release in early Spring 2010. Both releases are a joint project by visionary underground filmmaker/party-planner Gary LaChance and Horse keyboardist Erik Engstrom.
Keyboardist Erik Engstrom added, "We are very excited after 2 years of work to finally begin releasing footage from Earth Tour so people can live vicariously through us. Also, this DVD is the perfect Christmas present."
