Pearl Jam Map Out Some Summer Tour Dates

Pearl Jam announced today that they will play a series of select European festival and headlining tour dates in June and July of 2010. The band's European dates kick off in Dublin, Ireland at the 02 Arena and close at the Optimus Alive Festival in Lisbon, Portugal. Pearl Jam recently toured North America, Australia and New Zealand in support of their ninth studio album, Backspacer. Released on September 20, 2009 in the U.S. and September 21, 2009 internationally, Backspacer debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart. Ticket on-sale times and locations will be announced in local markets in the coming days. June 22: Dublin (02 Arena)

June 25: London (Hard Rock Calling Hyde Park)

June 30: Berlin (Wuhlheide)
July 1: TBD
July 3: Arras, France (Main Square Festival)
July 4: Werchter, Belgium (Rock Werchter Festival)

July 10: Oeiras, Portugal (Optimus Alive Festival) A special ticket pre-sale for the Dublin, Belfast, London and Berlin shows will take place for current members (as of Friday December 4, 2009) of Pearl Jam's Ten Club. This pre-sale begins Wednesday December 9, 2009.
