(HeadbangerNYC.com) Rob Zombie will write, direct and produce a remake of the 1958 horror classic "The Blob".This is the second remake of "The Blob", the first coming in 1988 from director Chuck Russell ("The Scorpion King"). In the original movie, a meteorite crashes into a rural community, depositing a blob-like creature that consumes humans and swells to a monstrous size. Zombie has already begun writing the film, which will serve as his next directing project following "Halloween II" (which hit theaters on Friday). - more on this story
