(PR) Moneen is ready to announce a string of headlining dates leading up to their fall tour with Say Anything and Eisley, which will take them from their home of Brampton, ON out to Los Angeles, CA for the start of the 5-week trek. Moneen also just debuted the Michael Maxxis-directed video for "Hold That Sound" from their forthcoming new album The World I Want To Leave Behind, out September 15 on Vagrant, which can be viewed here:.
Moneen recorded The World I Want To Leave Behind in January at Rattlebox Studios in Toronto with Brian Moncarz and Grammy award-winning David Bottrill (Tool, Silverchair, Placebo, Muse). Chart Attack interviewed the band in the studio, and lead singer/ guitarist Kenny Bridges says of the process, "Other than the very first record... where you're running around in circles going crazy and having the best time of your life... this is the easiest record we've ever made as far as it's so positive and really, really creative. A big influence on this record is more just straight-up, honest songwriting."
