(PR) Paul Revere and the Raiders have named Buddy Lee Attractions as their exclusive World Wide Agency for all of their personal appearances. Paul Revere continues to tour extensively -- entering his fifth decade in the music business -- performing hit gems such as "Just Like Me" (#11 in 1965); "Kicks," (#4 in 1966); "Hungry, " (#6 in 1966); "Up and Downs," (#22 in 1967); "Him or Me – What's it Gonna Be?," (#5 in 1967) amongst others with covers of many more hit classics.
"(Fans) enjoy hearing the music they grew up with and they enjoy hearing me relate to them and what we all grew up in and the fact that we're older now... and so what!?" said Paul.
"You can tell by watching our show that we have fun. This band has been with me an awful long time but we never get tired of doing our show because it's never quite the same," Paul says. Equal parts music and humor, the prime objective of a Paul Revere and the Raiders show is having a good time.
"Buddy Lee Attractions is excited to be the exclusive agency for Paul Revere & The Raiders. The music is timeless and their show speaks for itself. Paul Revere & The Raiders have kicked it out for over 40 years with no end in sight!" – David Kiswiney, BLA Responsible Agent
Paul Revere organized the Raiders in 1958 in Idaho. They were the first rock act signed to Columbia Records with the 1963 recording of "Louie, Louie." In 1965 and 1966 Revere was featured on the ABC television network show "Where the Action Is" produced by Dick Clark, with a total of 520 appearances during the run of show. In 1968 and 1969 Revere co-hosted the weekly ABC series "Happening" also produced by Dick Clark as well as the five-day-a-week show "Its Happening."
In the summer of 1971 Revere rode his motorcycle, crisscrossing the United States three times to promote the Raiders recording "Indian Reservation" which he drove to #1 on the national charts, eventually selling over 4 million copies.
