(PR) The Roys joined dozens of their friends in the country music community to show support for Country Superstar Mel McDaniel who suffered a heart attack on June 16th. Elaine and Lee Roy performed to a packed house at The Nashville Palace in Nashville, TN in a lineup that included Country music stars and Opry legends; all who gave of their time and talent in honor of their friend, McDaniel. It was truly a night to remember with performances by Little Jimmy Dickens, The Whites with Ricky Skaggs, Jeannie Seely, Buddy Jewell, Guy Gilchrist, Jack Greene, Jimmy C. Newman, Jim Ed Brown and Helen Cornelius, a surprise visit from Mel Tillis and many others. The event raised over $25 thousand for McDaniel's expenses. "It was an honor to be asked to perform for this great cause and share the stage with so many legendary artists. We are truly blessed to be part of a community that cares so deeply." says Lee Roy.
