(PR) Surviving a near-death experience, sleep deprivation, and sugar overload all in the making of their new album, The Fast Romantics continue to go for broke, along with the backing support of some boss industry and media players. Out on August 18th, their self-titled debut album is an imaginative and upbeat effort revealing Brit-pop and indie-rock influences, infinite passion, and distinguished talent.
The Fast Romantics played their first show with the current line-up in September 2007 and have since played alongside acts such as Stone Temple Pilots, The Flaming Lips, The Fratellis, and The Stills. Theyve had two top ten singles on commercial radio, features on CBC, continual praise in print, and a national tour including a headlining slot at this years Canadian Music Week.
