Oak Ridge Boys Rally

08/04/2009
.
(Webster and Assoc) The Inaugural Oak Ridge Boys Rally, October 23-25, 2009, will be two nights during a weekend full of fellowship, four-part harmonies and upbeat songs coming straight from the hearts of a group of musicians that we have all come to know and love, The Oak Ridge Boys.

"The Oak Ridge Boys are looking forward to the Rally at the Gaylord Opryland. It will be a fun weekend. It's not often we can invite fans to our hometown, and we're hoping this will become an annual event," says Joe Bonsall of The Oaks.

Guests of The Oak Ridge Boys who will be travelling to Nashville for The Inaugural Oak Ridge Boys Rally will spend two nights at the widely acclaimed Gaylord Opryland Resort, known for its nine acres of indoor gardens, luxurious guestrooms, fantastic on-site restaurants and award-winning Southern hospitality.

During their stay, guests will be treated with a concert comprised of hits as well as new music off The Oaks' latest CD, The Boys Are Back, which was the second highest debut on Billboard's May 24th Top Country Albums chart. The Oaks' new music has attracted the attention of a younger audience, while reminding dedicated fans that their favorite group is ever-evolving.

"When we throw new songs at the audience, it's fun to watch their reaction. The cool thing is they're loving it. We don't give it any introduction; we just go straight into each song. We did Seven Nation Army in Minnesota recently and got a standing ovation. The younger kids in the audience were freaking out," adds bass singer extraordinaire Richard Sterban.

This goes to show that the Oak's rally is truly for every age and fun for the whole family! And because of the group's huge popularity, tickets to this eventat the Gaylord Opryland are going quickly, so make plans now for an unforgettable family weekend with The Oak Ridge Boys!
