New Nirvana Live DVD A Bootleg, Official DVD Planned

(Rock Radio) Universal Music have confirmed that the Nirvana DVD announced yesterday is a bootleg but an official release of Live at Reading 1992 is coming in November.Online fan groups raised the alarm after the artwork of the long-awaited release, titled Life Takes No Prisoners, didn't live up to expectations. It later became apparent that the version on offer has been in circulation for some time, and even if it's been improved it won't have been made from master recordings. Universal moved quickly to confirm that the release by Stomp Records isn't approved by surviving band members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, or the estate of Kurt Cobain managed by widow Courtney Love and her associates. - more on this story
