Attack! Attack! UK Week: Day 1

09/29/2008
.
(antiMusic) The British are coming! The British are coming! That is Attack! Attack! UK's new self-titled album is coming out next week and technically they are Welsh. To celebrate the pending release from these buzz worthy Welsh rockers, we asked the band's frontman Neil Starr to pick some of his favorite songs from the album and tell us about them. Here is Neil with today's song:

Say It To Me: We recorded the album in LA and it was our first time in the US , we had the music written for the track before we went to America but had no real lyrics or concept in mind for the song. Time was creeping up on us to record the vocals and we still didn't have lyrics or a concept so Stuart, our producer, said write a song about Hollywood and how fake it is. When we got back from the studio that night around 1am in the morning myself and Ryan sat at the table in our apartment eating flammin hot cheetos and basically wrote the song lyrics around the concept Stuart had mentioned in about 30mins .

The lyrics seemed to flow out of us and it was kinda weird cos normally lyrics take a long time to perfect but with this it all seemed to click, we just bounced lines off each other and loved the final lyrics . We took them to the studio the next day and the producers loved them too and we tracked them there and then!
