(PR) Ships and Dip V, the annual wild and wacky music cruise featuring Barenaked Ladies, has announced a video competition inviting music fans to submit a video of their best high five. The winning video submission will receive a double occupancy mini suite aboard Ships and Dip V, two AirTran Airways travel certificates, front row seating at a Barenaked Ladies main theater performance and the chance to high five the band onstage. Video entries will be loaded into a Ships and Dip YouTube account that fans can link to directly and spread the word. Online voting will determine the top three videos from entries chosen based on originality and creativity. Barenaked Ladies will choose the grand prize winner which will be announced Oct. 24, 2008. Ships and Dip V will set sail from Miami, FL on Feb. 1, 2009, on the Norwegian Jewel to Cozumel, Mexico and Norwegian Cruise Line's private island Great Stirrup Cay, returning on Feb. 6, 2009. Barenaked Ladies will take fans to the high seas with other artists such as Great Big Sea, The Weakerthans, Gaelic Storm, Butterfly Boucher, The New Odds, Brothers Creeggan, Luke Doucet, Mike Evin, Christine Fellows, Boothby Graffoe, Melissa McClelland, Sloan, The Mountain Goats and Vanity Project for five days of music, comedy and fun.
