Health Problems Sideline Scotland Barr

(PR) Portland, Oregon-based six-piece Americana/rock outfit Scotland Barr & The Slow Drags have canceled their fall tour, as of last week, due to front man Scotland Barr's health problems. After experiencing reoccurring symptoms for over a week, doctors recommended Scotland Barr cancel the tour and get on a plane back to Portland, Oregon immediately. The band drove Scotland Barr to the airport and are heading back in the band's van with the gear. Scotland Barr arrived in Portland and is getting various tests at a Portland-area hospital. No word on what the symptoms or potential health problem is, though Barr commented that they are potentially "very serious".
