(PR) Former Dexys Midnight Runners members and Mick Talbot (formerly one half of The Style Council), have reunited the legendary British funk Northern soul band "The Bureau". The band will release a brand new album entitled "
And Another Thing" on 6th October.The new album is the follow-up to the Bureau's 1981 self-titled debut album. The band features original Dexys Midnight Runners members Mick Talbot (keyboards), Geoff Blythe (tenor and soprano sax), Pete Williams (bass, ukulele, clarinet, guitar, vocals) and Steve Spooner (alto sax).
The Bureau will perform 3 gigs in the UK during October: London Jazz Cafι (9th Oct), Birmingham's The Sound Bar (3rd Oct) and Newcastle's The Cluny (8th Oct).
