Beck To Open New Hollywood Hotspot

09/24/2008
.
(PR) Having triumphantly pulled off the biggest hometown headline engagement of his career, last Saturday's sold out Hollywood Bowl extravaganza, Beck has confirmed a return engagement: The multi-platinum multiple Grammy winner will open Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles on November 10th. Tickets go on sale Saturday, September 27th at 10am PST

In other Beck touring news, a third New York show has been added to his stand at new York's United Palace Theater. The new show will take place October 8th, a day before the sold out October 9th and 10th dates.

Additionally, Beck will release a pair of singles available digitally September 30th and on vinyl October 7th. The A-side for both will be "Gamma Ray" from his acclaimed new album Modern Guilt. B-Sides will be Jay Reatard's cover of "Gamma Ray" and the non-album Beck original "Bonfire Blonde."

Located at the corner of Olympic and Figueroa, the acoustically ideal and artistically intimate, live entertainment venue, known as CLUB NOKIA, is ready to roll. This is the newest, and largely promising, addition to downtown Los Angeles. Nearing completion, with its state of the art sound and lighting capabilities and seating configurations that can easily accommodate over 2,300 guests, in addition to BECK, CLUB NOKIA will open its doors to an impressive group of A-list music acts, and other choice artists this fall.
