(FMQB) [Reposting] In what could be a potential Hip-Hop sales showdown the likes of which we haven't seen since, well, September 2007. 50 Cent and Kanye West will release new albums a week apart in December. 50's Before I Self Destruct is due to arrive on December 9, while West's 808's and Heartbreak will drop December 16. When both artists dropped new albums on September 11, 2007, West's Graduation easily outsold 50 Cent's Curtis by almost 3 million copies. - more details including a sarcastic comment from Kanye
