(PR) Rising blues-rock trio Back Door Slam has been recruited to open on Gov't Mule's "Kinder Revolution" fall tour and report for duty at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston on Friday, October 31.Prior to hooking up with Gov't Mule, Back Door Slam, which features singer-writer-guitarist Davy Knowles, bassist Adam Jones and drummer Ross Doyle—all 21-years-old—joined the Kid Rock/Lynyrd Skynyrd "Rock and Rebels" tour for a series of August dates.
They recently resumed a solo tour schedule, which includes the House of Blues in Dallas with Joe Bonamassa on September 26, a return to the Austin City Limits Festival on September 27 and a show that evening at Antone's in Austin with Jakob Dylan.
