(PR) J.D. Souther, the legendary singer-songwriter whose career has been highlighted by numerous hit songs recorded by a broad range of artists including the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor and others has set a national tour in support of his first studio album in 25 years. The album, If The World Was You, will be released on the Slow Curve label (distributed through Sony RED) on October 14. Souther's tour begins November 3 in Annapolis, MD at the Ram's Head Tavern and continues into December with performance dates in major markets on the East Coast, in the Midwest, Southwest and California.
Commonly credited with being one of the principal architects of the California country-rock sound, Souther is expected to perform a number of the songs he's written for other artists including "New Kid In Town," "Best of My Love" and "Faithless Love" while showcasing the new songs from If The World Was You that were recorded over the course of the past year in Nashville where he now resides.
