(PR) Brandi Carlile Live in Boston, an iTunes exclusive EP, is set to be released on Tuesday September 16, 2008. This EP will feature a handful of Brandi's tracks, as well as a cover of Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues," (in addition to a live video performance of Brandi's poignant song "Josephine.") Moreover, Brandi Carlile's sophomore release The Story continues to enjoy chart success, reclaiming spots within the top 10 on both iTunes Top Albums Chart and Amazon's Bestseller's list. Carlile's recent return to the charts is due in large part to a General Motors commercial featuring the album's title track. Debuting on August 8th during the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympics, GM's spot showcases the company's alternative fuel solutions (including hybrids and hydrogen fuel cells) set to Brandi's powerful song.
