(antiMusic) Critically acclaimed rockers The 88 return to stores this week with their latest effort "Not Only... But Also." To celebrate the release we asked Keith Slettedahl to pick some of his favorite tracks from the album and tell us a little bit about each one. Here is Keith with today's song:Go Go Go: Another one that happened while working on a different song. I think that comes from the relaxation between recording takes, where there's no pressure to get anything "right" and we can just let loose. It seemed like a good live song, so we stuck with the "Go Go Go" gang-vocal thing.
My favorite part is the breakdown middle section, obviously influenced by The Who. Everyone plays great on this one, and the lyrics flew out faster than I could write them down.
