Metal Church Tour Shut Down Due To Injury

(Metal Underground) PR announcement: We have to inform you that Metal Church cannot do the planned tour with Overkill in spring 2009.Kurdt Vanderhoof (guitars) was suffering with his back problems for a long time. After several treatments this summer all looked good so far, but last weekend it got so bad again that his doctor warned him about doing a bigger tour before the problem is solved. We are very sorry, but better to cancel the tour now, before we are deep in pre-sales and we have to cancel then. We all are very sorry about this, but the health of Kurdt is too important than taking the risk! - more on this story
