(PR) Death By Stereo has just released four new songs on their Myspace page from new album "Death Is My Only Friend," due out in early 2009. [Sorry their PR didn't provide a link. Google is your friend].
The new songs are just a taste of what's to come from D.B.S's latest album which comes after a four-year-long break since their 2004 album "Death For Life."
D.B.S. recently held a major industry release listening party in November 2008 at Hollywood's NRG Recording Studio with a guest list that included some of the music industry's biggest names including members of Green Day, AFI, the Goo Dolls, and Zebrahead.
The band remains busy touring and playing tons of shows including a Thanksgiving Benefit at Keegas Irish Pub in Torrance with a portion of proceeds going to the homeless, an Anaheim House of Blues show with Bad Brains on Monday, December 8, as well as a series of dates with Suicidal Tendencies in December."Death Is My Only Friend" will be Death By Stereo's first album since their amiable split with Epitaph Records in 2007, the label they were with for over seven years. With strong industry interest in signing D.B.S., the band is currently in negotiations with a few labels for the release of their newest album.
