(FMQB) While the prospect of another 50 Cent vs. Kanye West sales showdown has been squashed now that the MCs have moved their release dates, there will be a different Hip-Hop battle of sorts on November 2[4]. That day, Ludacris' new CD, Theater Of The Mind, will drop at the same time as Kanye's 808s & Heartbreak. However, the two albums are notably different - Kanye is going more in the direction of singing while Ludacris is "rapping my heart out."
"It's gonna be two great albums and I think what [Kanye] is doing is inspiring," Luda told MTV News. "People are looking for something new. From the songs I heard from him, I thought that's just what he was doing — new and interesting... I'm rapping my heart out," he continued.
