Barenaked Ships & Dip DVD

11/03/2008
.
(PR) Barenaked Ladies have announced plans to release Ships & Dip III DVD, a documentation of last year's shenanigans on board the Carnival Victory Cruise complete with performances and behind-the scenes action.

The DVD will be released on December 6 and sold at the band's upcoming kids/holiday shows in Toronto on December 6 and 7 and in Ottawa on December 13. It will be available for pre-order via the BNL website.

The DVD will also be available for purchase to the lucky cruisers onboard the recently announced "SHIPS & DIP V" voyage. The Norwegian Jewel will leave on February 1 and will sail to Cozumel, Mexico and Norwegian Cruise Line's private island Great Stirrup Cay, returning on February 6.

"Ships and Dip V" is the third time BNL will sail the high seas with their beloved fans, and the band has spent the past few years perfecting the art of the cruise. This year, they are thrilled to announce the additions of Kids In The Hall alumni Dave Foley and Kevin McDonald to the entertainment line-up.

Other performers include: Great Big Sea, The Weakerthans, Gaelic Storm, Butterfly Boucher, The New Odds, Brothers Creeggan, Luke Doucet, Mike Evin, Christine Fellows, Boothby Graffoe, Melissa McClelland, Sloan, The Mountain Goats and Vanity Project. It's sure to be five days filled with music, comedy and fun...and of course, the annual Barenaked photo.

Stay tuned for more exciting news from Barenaked Ladies. For more information on the cruise, visit www.shipsanddip.com.
