Beatles For Sale: iPod and Board Game Coming

(antiMusic) If you have a loved one that is a fanatical fan of The Beatles, you are going to have some tough gift buying decisions this Christmas. Our friends over at Abbeyrd's Beatles Page have some big news on two new Beatles "must-haves" that will be making their way into stores later this year. First up, forget about Park Place, you want to land on Abbey Road Studios. What in the hell are we talking about? How about a Beatles themed Monopoly board game. According to ABP the game will be available early next month and they also have a lot of exclusive details about it. Very cool indeed, check it out here. This next bit of news might end up being far bigger. It seems that Bloomingdale has an exclusive Beatles ipod in the works. How can that be when the band's music isn't available digitally yet? You figure that one out and what it means. But you can't very well have a Beatles iPod without Beatles music can you? Wait, not so fast. There is some speculation in fan circles that a Beatles iPod isn't really in the offing. ABP contacted the retail giant to either confirm or deny that it's really coming.
