(antiMusic) When we heard that Bullet For My Valentine were releasing new CD, we knew that they'd be a good band to do a special week with. So we hit up their publicist and she delivered. As a result, each day this week members of the band will tell a little bit about some of the tracks off of their new CD "Scream Aim Fire." Here they are with today's song "Take It Out With Me". Matt: This is the first collaboration with another artist we've ever done, we wrote it with Mr. Benji Webb who used to be the vocalist for Dub War and was also with Skindred. We've known the guy for years; he's a Newport lad. I was in the studio doing vocals and I was just pretty much struggling, and Benjie was just hanging around in the studio, just chilling, having a laugh. So, I gave him the instrumental version of the song and said, if you don't mind, see what you come up with vocally.
When we came in the next morning, Benjie was still in the studio, he hadn't been to bed, he was just up all night buzzing on the track. It just got us sharing the vocal duties, really. He's an amazing, amazing songwriter, front man and vocalist.
