Beyonce Wins Song Theft Appeal

(Gigwise) Beyonce Knowles has won a copyright infringement case against an unknown songwriter who claims the star stole her song to create her global hit 'Baby Boy'.

Jennifer Armour alleged that she had submitted the track for consideration to Mathhew Knowles, Beyonce's father and manager.

However, The Fifth Court of Appeals in the USA ruled in favour of the former Destiny's Child singer after being satisfied by evidence showing that 'Baby Boy' has already been finished when Armour submitted her track. - more on this story
