Fans Calling Bad Brains on MTV a Bad Idea

(antiMusic) MTV Headbanger's Ball recently featured Bad Brains as their artist of the week. Some Bad Brains fans were not amused. "come on bad brains, dont dont go to that mtv bull @?%~, there just going to sucker you guys into things. little by little mtv is going to sucker you guy into palying different," posted one fan.The site featured a week of content on the band including some clips of the band jamming with System of a Down's Shavo, which seemed to go over badly with the Bad Brains fans that posted on site. "what the ~#~* is bad brains thinking playing with that shot dude from soad. so whack!," wrote Stephanie. The special was to promote their latest album Build A Nation and Shavo directed the first video from the offering. According to their label, the concept captures punk and reggae. Thus, the main punk video "Give Thanks And Praises" merges into the dub reggae of "Jah Love." - Watch the clips and judge for yourself
