(antiMusic) Of all of the rumors we have heard in the 10 and half years of antiMusic this is one of the strangest. Sleazeroxx has the tale: Red Hot Chili Peppers' frontman Anthony Kiedis was close to suffering from kidney failure over the summer, according to friends of the star. Sources have claimed that he was in and out of Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles for treatment for kidney disease, possibly related to his past cocaine and heroin addiction. However Kiedis' people have denied claims that he was being treated for a kidney problem, and would not confirm or deny that he had been in hospital over the summer. - the strange details
