(Filter) Never one to simply follow the rules, when FILTER Magazine asked Ryan Adams what his favorite records of the year were, he offered not ten, but nine of his top albums of 2008. While we can only speculate what his final pick could have been (ummm... Cardinology?), he provided a list of nine eclectic records that did make the cut. Only Ryan Adams could name Metallica, Fleet Foxes, Testament and Mariah Carey in the same breath...
