(Live Nation) Reggie & The Full Effect, the brain-child of former Coalesce and The Get Up Kids member James Dewees, will say farewell to fans later this summer when the band embarks on its final tour. The trek kicks off August 20 at The Social in Orlando, Florida, and will hit clubs and theatres across the country through mid-September.
Other lucky venues on the band's swan song swing include Warehouse Live in Houston (August 22), The Avalon in Los Angeles (August 26), the Marquis Theater in Denver (August 31), Magic Stick in Detroit (September 4), HighLine Ballroom in New York City (September 7), the Recher Theatre in Towson, Md. (September 11), and Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia (September 14).
Opening duties for the tour will be shared by Warship, MC Chris and Leathermouth, the side project of My Chemical Romance's Frank Iero. Tickets are available at Livenation.com and [removed monopoly link].
Reggie & The Full Effect, which was formed eight years ago by Dewees as an outlet for songs that didn't fit the style of The Get Up Kids, released its fifth and final album, Crappy Town, last month.
