(PR) Country Music hit-kicker, Clay Walker recently announced the launch and inaugural ride of the Band Against MS Bike Team. This October 4 & 5, the BAMS Bike Team will join hands and partner with the Mid South Chapter of the National MS Society for the 2008 Jack Daniel's "Bike to Jack & Back" bike ride to raise money for the fight against MS, the leading cause of non-traumatic disability in young people throughout the world.More than 750 riders are expected to depart at 7:30 a.m. from Page High School in Franklin, TN for the 75 mile ride to Motlow State Community College in Lynchburg, TN where they will stay overnight then return to Franklin the next morning.
"I am extremely excited and proud that the Band Against MS Bike Team will be partnering with the Mid South Chapter of the National MS Society for the Jack Daniel's "Bike to Jack and Back" bike ride. This event will further our efforts to raise awareness, fund research and support the fight to ultimately find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis," says BAMS President, Clay Walker.

The National MS Society uses the proceeds from the MS bike ride to fund local programs and cutting edge research into a cause and cure for MS," Ward added. "Clay Walker and the BAMS Bike Team have committed to our goal of creating a world free of MS."
