Here they are with today's song: Twilight- This song's subject matter deals with the lack of empathy and emotional numbness that sometimes threatens each of us as human beings living in this modern, so-called "civilized" society where political corruption, racism, wealth and upper-class entitlement threaten the working class. It's protagonist struggles with her feelings of anger, isolation and frailty through Sensual Gratification.

From an instrumental standpoint, this particular track was exciting for Bobbie and myself to write because we decided to make this an opportunity to explore different textural dynamics within the passages. The initial writing began with Bobbie playing drums and me throwing riffs at him….Bobbie sang his idea for the chorus….once I transposed it on guitar we started piecing the parts together and were pleased with the results. One of my truly favorite studio memories of tracking was when session player/Chapman Stick master Tony Levin was laying his bass parts down and he turned to us and said, "…exactly how many parts do you have in this particular piece anyway?
