(PR) Available May 6 on CD and digitally, The Adventures of You Me & Iowa is the second release from the California quintet You Me & Iowa. Produced by Dave Newton (The Little Ones, The Mighty Lemon Drops) and mixed by J. Robbins (The Dismemberment Plan, Jawbox, The Promise Ring), The Adventures of You Me & Iowa is fresh indie-pop-rock that twists the genre in new & authentic musical directions.With complex arrangements combined with catchy melodies and an inspired rhythm section, the five members of You Me & Iowa have been steadily building a rabid following in the greater Los Angeles indie scene since their inception in 2003. Repeated sold-out shows at Spaceland and other high-profile venues have resulted in a steadily growing fan base, and awards such as being voted "Best Alternative Rock Band 2005" at the LA Music Awards have pointed the spotlight directly at the band.
