(antiMusic) It used to be that the Glastonbury festival would sell out almost instantly, but when the organizers booked Jay-Z to headline this year, that tradition ended. This lack of interest on the part of UK fans has sparked speculation that Jay-Z may pull out of the show. Not so says organizers of the fest, who plan to stick with Jay-Z come rain or half empty seats.Gigwise reports: Glastonbury organisers have once again defended the decision to book Jay-Z as a headliner for this year's festival but have admitted that rapper's camp have been 'rattled' by the public's response.
Emily Eavis told the Guardian that they are sticking by the decision despite it being a "curve ball" for some of its regular punters.... "But we feel we've made a really important decision and we're absolutely going to stick by it because we think it's going to be amazing." - more on this story
