(antiMusic) Jessica Simpson was hospitalized over the weekend for a "minor kidney infection." The pop star was released on Monday and is reportedly feeling "much better". Simpson's rep told the Associated Press that the singer was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday for the infection and was released on Monday following treatment. Simpson's representative Lauren Auslander told The Associated Press that the 27-year-old singer-actress is feeling "much better now." Hospitalization wasn't enough to get her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, to break a prior commitment to be at her bedside, according to a report by In Touch.
